Tanushree Dutta is a 1979 born, celebrating her birthday on 19th March. She was born in Jamshedpur, Bihar. Her father Tappan is associated with Life Insurance Corporation of India.
She has a degree in Commerce from Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce, Pune. She worked in event management at the Oracle Institute before entering the Femina Miss India Contest. She won the crown, besides Miss Confidence and Miss Beautiful Smile and headed off to Ecuador where she took her place among the final ten at the Miss Universe contest. She is yet to get that one breakthrough role.

Chocolate was to be Tanushree Dutta’s debut in 2005. However Aashiq Banaya Aapne beat it to the theaters. The movie enjoyed moderate success. She also had a Telugu release Veerabhadra. Apart from a cameo in 36 China Town, she didn’t have any movies in 2006. But had five releases in 2007 – Risk, Good Boy Bad Boy, Raqeeb, Dhol and Speed.
Her only release in 2008, Saas Bahu Aur Sensex did well.
Tanushree Dutta, the newly-crowned Femina Miss India is a different personality compared to the former Miss Universe, Miss World and Mrs World. She is a fate number 1 ruled by the Sun and a destiny 7/8. As she is born before sunrise, the effect of number 7 in her life shall also be pronounced, as this is a cusp time. She will be dominating and will not accept defeat, but at the same time she will surely be drawn to occult subjects like astrology (which she confessed to me over the phone), and metaphysical subjects will make her pursue serious subjects in life. She is a beauty with brains. She is a Pisces-Arian cusp and has the fate number 1, which gives her the best qualities of both the signs, and makes her moody, sensitive at times, but extremely focused and determined in her goals. She always likes to lead and has a bit of an ego. She is discriminating because of her Mercurian Moon rashi. The trouble at times maybe her vacillating interests since Pisces is a sign of versatility.
